Zippy's Vineyard: Experience the Best of Hawaiian Cuisine in Honolulu

Great zippys! Nice location I can walk to from downtown/chinatown, and the service was great, and the food came out quickly. It's hard to find better hawaiian plates at a lower price. Napoleon bakery is located inside also. Seems like they close from midnight-6am.

Usually an OK place to eat. Modest pricing for the portions. My favorite dish so far has been their monthly specials, like the Miso Salmon & Miso chicken plate with brown rice if they have it. I gave a few stars because last time I went there and got my food, the older woman who called my order called me over just to leave my food on her side of the counter. I had to reach ALL the way over the counter to grab it. It may be a bit petty and not seem like much, but it's the little things that matter in customer service. Especially when all she had to do was push the food towards me... I think many employees take what they have for granted, and as a culture, we need to do better. Other than that, they have a big selection of desserts and sweets to choose from along with your meal. I also enjoy the Portuguese bean soup ! (Update) 7-5-25 A flimsy piece of bread that I asked over the phone to be EXTRA TOASTED because I know they barely toast the bread, smh What does a brother have to do to get good food around here ?!

Zippys is a great place to eat at, ive never been disappointed with any meal they have. They have a huge selection of plates to choose from and breakfast to lunch/dinner. Waiters are nice and friendly. The food usually come out quick. Me and my family love going there also a great dessert is the brownie delight with nuts and caramel

Clean location but crowded on a Sunday at lunch time. Parking spilled over into the adjacent lot. Services were not super fast but the food was sub par. My pancakes and egg were over cooked and dry.

I got the zippys deluxe for take out. It was very delicious! The only knock I have for this spot is that I had to wait quite a bit to get my food. If I had known that it would take so long, I would have ordered online in advance. I love that there is adequate parking.

Literally my first stop on my Hawaiian trip! And it didn’t not disappoint!! The loco moco and the Zip PAC Deluxe are OMG!!

Where to start, after my doctor's app. I head over to Zippy's for my flaky! In a good mood took pictures of the surrounding area for at 1 time? These huge trees, we used to climb up with the limbs so wide you could run on it ! Unsure why ? I got the bread pudding and on my way to get home. Heading to the bus stop which is Not to comfortable for seniors! I noticed a man talking to himself in he's underwear? The came in time for Me, this stop is right there across from the Mililani mortuary on the corner. Look for the review. Us girls, sisters, cousins and our children listened about the bread pudding and the bus driver, with the compliment of their wives stories when we lived behind the hospital, before the freeway. That day I gave the driver my desert. Elderly sister who I have told about the area there was more interested in the fact I brought it, No flaky!? But, to hear that it went to a driver,it turned out to be a conversation that has lasted for a few days now. We baking, cooking, large pots of food, to old. Where we used to get it from,Nana she is at rest. So family members asked " so where "? Zippy's " how was it "? Ono., enough I said. I've changed my bus stop and it's right outside of the church going up to Nu'uanu. Before I went there I got the last bread pudding and gave it to the first lady driver on this route. Told her " there's a story about this" and I got off. I took a few photos of the surrounding area but it's a photo that I found to be my favorite. Turned to leave but I glanced back around although small I see the name... Zippy's. Somethings hasn't changed.

When visiting from the U.S. Mainland, I usually visit this Zippy's location because it's close & convenient to where my relatives live. Service is usually fast & efficient, the restaurant is reasonably clean, and the menu selection and quality are excellent. As a creature of habit, I usually order the Korean Fried Chicken plate ($17.65, Sept. 2023). A somewhat healthier version is the Korean Chicken Salad ($16.45). And we usually check out the bakery selection (Napoleon's Bakery) for something sweet to take home.
